INARA SERRA - Train Job

Costume components: Black dress, floral wrap with trim, wig, assorted jewelry, black sandals

Total cost: $50 (+$30 wig and shoes from other costumes)

The dress is a modified version of McCalls 5098. I made the top a simple sweetheart close and the skirt full length. (I use this pattern a lot.) I lined the bust of the dress to match the floral wrap.

The wrap gave me very much grief. I made it to close in the front, which I would not do again as it give unnecessary volume to the center seam. I used the bust of dress pattern Newlook 6557. I layered black lace over the fabric and added a heavy fringe trim, then attached the floral part.
