I've always wanted to do a Inuyasha cosplay being it was the first anime I watched...well maybe half way through. I bought most of the stuff a half a year ago, but due to a douchey ex and finances I had to put it on hold. Anways

The pants were a modifyed pj pants pattern. I put elastic in the cuffs to get the MC Hammer pant effect. Then I had to dye them a navy since my original reference pictures were off in color.

The over coat is a kimono pattern. It started white and I dyed it twice to get the purple I wanted.

The kimono top is a basic kimono I made and I appliqued on all the little ribbons which took about six hours...with a few more to do.

The wig is a Natalie XXL and the first thing I did was cut the bangs into it. Then sewed all the loose wefts myself. Then pulled it into a half ponytail (since his hair is impossibly thick and a full pony would be short and impossible) and added a pack of extensions to cover the exposed wefts. Then I added four more packs of curly extensions to get the proper curly poof. It's a VERY heavy wig, after wearing it for ten hours it pulled on my hairline so bad it bruised my head T.T
