I didn't so much make this costume in its entirety, but mentored someone in making it. My friend wanted to cosplay Tasuki and I thought it would be a good opportunity to show her the ropes since it's a simple enough design to start with. Basically I'd show her what to do and leave her to the rest as I supervised. I made most of the technical decisions, leaving the creative ones to her own personal flair and taste (everyone has their own interpretation). She had no prior sewing experience and so I had to train her from using a sewing machine to analyzing and altering patterns. One thing that I did do entirely for her was style/cut the wig as she wore it. My bf was responsible for making her fan and fangs.
