I love Spice and Wolf and was so happy to get this costume done! Holo is one of the sweetest and wittiest female characters I've seen in a long time and its hard to not fall in love with her.. or give her apples, lol.

I wanted to use appropriate period fabrics for Holo but still wanted some richness in the details. The costume is made of light navy suede and edged with black faux rabbit fur (its soo soft!!!) The brighter blue undershirt I made of a cotton-poly stretch material since it had to fit really close to my body at the waist since that waistband is TIGHT. The waist band is made of a beautiful print fabric that I found at the bottom of some stack. No its not 100% accurate but I thought completely appropriate for the character and time. The wig was purchased from cosplaywig on ebay. I harvested some of the hair since it was so long to make the back of the ears and extra white fox fur for the inside. The tail.. oh the tail. I constructed the tail from about 2 yards of light tawny faux fox fur and custom dyed with liquid acrylic and alcohol it to the wig about 5-6 times to get the right color.
