Kairi's primary outfit from the first Kingdom Hearts game. I was first inspired to do this because at the time I was playing as Kairi in a text-based RPG. I really grew to love the character, and I was going on a trip to Maui and thought "WOW, wouldn't that make some AMAZING pictures..."

This was really the first time I made a costume completely by myself from beginning to end. I made a few mistakes, and I could probably do the whole thing better now, but I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for her. As of now (July 2008) I am working on remaking her shoes, as the first pair fell apart, and once I've done that, I'd like to get some more pictures in this, too! It's coming out of semi-retirement for Kumoricon 2008!
