Kairi's primary outfit from the first Kingdom Hearts game. I was first inspired to do this because at the time I was playing as Kairi in a text-based RPG. I really grew to love the character, and I was going on a trip to Maui and thought "WOW, wouldn't that make some AMAZING pictures..."

This was really the first time I made a costume completely by myself from beginning to end. I made a few mistakes, and I could probably do the whole thing better now, but I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for her. In late 2008, I began making revisions and repairs, including making a replacement pair of shoes. In March or 09, I ordered and styled my third, and final wig. I can say for sure now, that I am 100% happy with this costume.
