A commission for Otakon 2009. Had a fun time distressing the bottom of the jacket - I took a propane blowtorch and burned the bottom with it. To control the flames, I kept a spray-bottle and a garden hose handy. Because the red lining was synthetic, it made this unbelievable molten texture wherever the flame hit. The outer fabric was cotton, so it turned to ash almost instantly. It was a fun time overall - but I don't recommend replicating this technique at home!
