Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse

Last Updated: 02-07-2012

Okay, I've quickly learned I just can't say no to fatal frame cosplay. A chance to cover myself in makeup, scare the crap out of people, and spread the fatal frame love? Count me in!
I had a lot of help from my good friend benevolentwave. He came up with the construction plans and materials for the cages, and did most of the construction. I helped shape them, and did the painting.
The cages are made of styrene, which was cut, heated, and shaped with much love and occasional frustration. The nails are very small dowels, with styrene heads.
The clothing pieces are altered nightgowns found at various thrift stores. We used various methods to "dirty" them, including charcoal, tea, and woodstain. Needless to say, they smell interesting...

It was a blast running around Animazement in Himiko and Yuuzou (or as we lovingly dubbed them, the Cageheads). In the future, I hope to improve the makeup and my posing. But for the most part, it was a success. As usual, I was just happy to be a part of Fatal Frame cosplay!
