This costume was amazing! Well, I had a great time wearing it, anyway. An Asuka costume had been a dream-child of mine for a long time, so to finally be able to bring it into reality was great. For her shoes I spent HOURS finding the perfect pair of plain red Mary-Janes to match hers from the episode. The watch was a red swatch I found actually at a thrift store on my way to the convention (luck me!). It doesn't actually work, though. U,U. I bought a blue ribbon to tie around my neck. The wig and A-10 clips were purchased. I had a lot of fun styling the wig so that the pigtails actually look like Asuka's with the way the hair feeds into the A-10 clips, so the way it turned out made me happy even though the clips fell out when we got the con! It took me several minutes to get it back in but then it was good for the rest of the day. Phew! The dress was a commission from Lime Barb that I made some alterations to when it arrived. I really thank her for her beautiful work. We were all worried about how low-cut it was though. My parents were being ridiculous about it. Guess that just means they care, lol. ;)

Edit: Since everyone loves this costume (me most of all ;) ), my "cosplay group" and I have decided to go Evangelion for Day 0 of Anime Expo this year. Along with our (worn out?) costumes we are making Angel masks based off of some Petite Evangelion keychains I bought two years ago to wear in that long, interminable line. Whoo-hoo!
