Fai D. Flowright has pretty much become my staple cosplay. I end up wearing it to almost every convention in one variant or another. This particular cosplay, his normal default outfit, was thrown together within two days after I had to scrape one of my more complicated cosplays for Colossalcon due to family issues.

The coat is made from a Chinese dress pattern, which I altered myself. Pants are from an older cosplay I don't wear anymore and the wig is actually from my friend's Shizuo cosplay. =)

Aaand to my wonderful brainchild- the staff. The staff is always getting compliments, so I tend to carry it around a lot, as I appreciate the positive feedback for my hard work. And yes, it was very time-consuming to make.
I have to say though that the best compliment I received was from Vic Mignogna himself. I'm not big into the whole English voice acting scene, but regardless, it was still appreciated. He said I did a wonderful job and looked beautiful. All in all a rather neat experience, if I do say so myself. ^.^
