This is now officially the most complicated cosplay I've made, and it will probably remain that way for a while. I originally wanted to do her coronation dress, but I decided to make this one instead because of all the red details. Though it is finished, I still want to add some more details and fix the jewelry a bit, so I marked it as 90% complete. When I finish fixing everything, I will make another photoshoot 100% complete. There are many terms I don't know in english, but I will try my best to explain how I made it.
To make the corset was actually kind of easy, since it was exactly like my wedding dress, so I already knew how to do it and had my patterns as well. The tedious part was adding all the lace and details, as well as all the embroidering on the sleeves. I made the sleeves gems out of plastic and resin. The rest of the jewelry was made out of craft foam and fabric. As for the skirt, it was a basic huge bell-shaped skirt with a patterned fabric, I cut out the roses from a red fabric and glued them to the skirt with fabric glue and then sewed them as well. I also embroidered it and sewed all the pearls by hand. I made the rosary out of plastic and modelling clay, then I put a layer of resin on top of it and painted it. As for the crown, I also made it out of craft foam and fabric. The neck was a bit similar to the corset, I cut a very thick and strong fabric twice and sewed bias tape in between then like a sandwich to put the boning. I put the normal fabric over it and sewed it all together, leaving the boning inside, then I sewed the sides of each boning to make it stand out. I added the lace and embroidered all the way to the middle, then I sewed the pearls on it. i sewed some lace in the back and added more boning with the red roses, that I made out of modelling clay and resin. Finally, I sewed the shapes of the holes and cut the whole thing with an x-acto knife. I starched it and added the details. Then I sewed the whole thing to the stuffed toy cape and put a lining inside (I'm not sure this is said properly). After that, I sewed some (hooks? clasps?) to it so it can be easily attached to the corset.
I am currently adding some embellishments and embroiderings to the whole outfit, and adding more roses to the skirt, as well as remaking some parts of the jewelry that I wasn't too satisfied with.
