This was my very first cosplay that I commissioned from Elizabeth of Yume No Tenshi.

She did a fantastic job with the fabric, and actually stitched the entirety of the black triangles onto the trim. It didn't mean much to me back then, but now that I sew my own, I realize how time consuming and a pain in the butt that must have been!

I chose Yumi as my first cosplay because I LOVE Rurouni Kenshin and I always thought that Yumi Komagata was a very strong and beautiful woman willing to sacrifice herself for love.
