This was relatively easy to make - jodhpurs, tank top, and boot covers. The Shepherd's Journal is still not quite finished (haven't put a lock on the side yet). It's made from leather, wood, clay, and craft foam with a sheaf of tea-stained paper inside. At some point, we'll write some notes in Atlantean in it.
The wig was fun. I did it in three parts. First, I separated the top layers from the bottom and cut the bottom into shape. Then I dyed the bottom layers darker (FW Ink method). When that was dry, I put the wig back on my husband's head and styled the bangs over a big roller from a photo machine (he brings them home from work in the photo lab all the time). I'm really, really happy with the wig, and Mikhail looks beautiful in the costume.
