I wanted to make costumes for both myself and my fiance, yet I wanted my fiance to have the best possible costume ever so I picked something simple for myself and something complicated for him. Leeloo is relatively simple and straightforward, no surprises anywhere, so it was a good choice that gave me lots and lots of time to make my sweetie's as well ^_^
