This was my simplest and most comfortable costume ever. It was almost as fun to wear as my Neku cosplay, and it kept me cool outside in the hot humid, 90-degree weather.

The martial arts gi was taken out of storage from my old days of Tae Kwon Do lessons. I chopped the sleeves off and thoroughly tattered the arm holes.

The red head band was made from a red knit material and sewn together.

The black belt was borrowed from a friend.

The gloves were made from scratch - from foam and brown vinyl, with plastic inserts and wire frame added for additional shaping/support. Took me approx. 8 hrs to make each glove, but they were built with both comfort and functionality in mind, and of course, can withstand a good beating. ;]
