Crazy doktors and lederhosen sure do make for an interesting mix. I've seen fan art of the Team Fortress 2 Medic in lederhosen before, so I figured somebody should bring it to life. Mostly I wanted a costume with shorts and a short-sleeved shirt so I wouldn't melt in the July heat at Otakon.
