Relatively easy costume; I found the shirt and sweatshirt at Salvation Army, had the legwarmers, bought the skirt at Forever 21, and printed out the bow since I totally forgot she had one (lol). I made the hair pieces out of old puzzle pieces and nail polish.
The only difficult part of this costume (and the only reason why I will never wear it again) was the hair. Oh my God, the hair.
Here's how I did, for any who were wondering (and yes, that is my hair x.x)
1. I made a frame out of coathanger wire, and styled it so it resembled pigtails.
2. I slid three styrofoam balls on each side of the wire pigtails.
3. I somehow managed to slip as much hair as I could onto the pigtails...it was really hard and I had no bobbybins/barrettes so I used Vasoline to keep my hair sticking to the styrofoam.
4. After that (it took like an hour), I doused my ginger hair with about two bottles of spray-in black hair dye.
ALL DONE.
PS, it took 2.5 hours of washing to get my hair back to normal...what a party, haha. JK.
