A local gaming convention gave notice of 2 weeks that the event would go on, I made this along with another whole katamari costume and a friends Touhou costume. I based it off of subversive.gurlings (google) 's tutorial, but with a lot of editing. I used foam, felt, model magic, styrofoam, plastic canvas, and a couple more things just for the head. I didn't use any patterns, just picture references. I bought the stockings at a local store, and used flip flops (without the thongs) for the shoes. It was definitely new for me, considering that I have never made a mascot/headwear costume, and it was a little challenging, but nothing too difficult.
