Terra Branford

Final Fantasy VI

I LOVE THIS COSPLAY!!! AHHHH!!!! I made it in about 5 days. Way to spend my whole weekend and evenings lol. My Terra is a mix of Amano's art work, game sprite, Dissidia design, and the CG render of Terra.

I hand stitched all the sequins and beads by hand, all over my boots, gloves, and dress. That was the most time consuming part! took me ALL day Saturday. @___@ Like, ALL DAY.

My wig is an Arda wig, it's the 'Jeannie' one, in Dark ash blonde. However, I wanted my Terra to be a mix of Amano's artwork/dissidia design AND sprite, so I used a green sharpie marker and ran it though the whole wig by hand, so it's kind of a green/blonde mix now. (I think it's mostly green though LOL) Also, the Jeannie wig is heat resistance, and the pony tail was very long and straight... which Terra's is short and curly. So I had to chop off a lot of hair, put it into curlers, and poured boiling water over it to make it curly. (I tried to curl it with an iron, thinking it'll curl because it's a heat resistance wig, but it didn't work, it actually made it straighter LOL) So the boiling water worked! ^^

All the armor parts are all made out of craft foam, so the shoulders and the decorations in the wig, that's what they are made from. =)

And I love my tights. <3 I had so much fun painting on the little flowers, I did it on myself! XD And when I took off the tights, I had these paint spots all over my legs.... -___-; IT WAS SO FUNNEEE! Mum was totally weirded out by it too. XD

The total cost of Terra is... EXPENSIVE THAN WHAT I NORMALLY SPEND. Closer to $85, WITH the new wig included, which was about $50. ..I guess that aint to bad then if you look at it that way... =P
