Marie Antoinette

This costume came together really easy. Really then only time consuming things were the lattice ruching and trying to figure out the wig.

The wig was a whole different anime. I initially ordered from Amphigory, but they didn't have the items in stock, so in panic I went to my local costume shop (tailor Maid) and hunted through their wigs. I ended up with three wigs that I frankenstiened together. The front is a scralet o'hara style wig that I pulled out of it's style and retyled lower and fuller. The back it another long ringlet wig folded in half and stitched onto the back. The bun is a cinderella/ 1900's gibbon girl wig that was rolled up and stitched/glued on to the back of the other two wigs. The hair bow is barreted into the wig, so it's removeable. I'm really happy with how the wig turned out, it came together better then I could have dreamed!
