Valor Form

Kingdom Hearts II

I wanted to crossplay Sora, but I didn't want to do the regular form. I wanted to do a form that you hardly ever see, and I really like using Valor Form in the game, so I chose to make this version.

Made within the 3 weeks before Another Anime Convention, and everything was put together using Liquid Stitch (seriously, I used 2 whole bottles of it). It needs to be fixed in some areas but for the most part I'm pretty happy with how it turned out :D Because it was made in a small amount of time along with other things I was working on at the same time, minor details had to be skipped, like the small white lines going down the outsides of his pants, and the fingers on his gloves. I know they're not full fingered gloves but I had to make them without any fingers at all because of the time constraints.

Wig: Punky S from Amphigory. I probably spent about an hour, maybe more, just staring at references and the wig before actually attempting to style it. Some of the spikes need to be restyled & the back needs to be fixed but it survived pretty well. I used Got2Be rockin' hard hairspray.

Jacket: The entirety of the jacket was Liquid Stitched together, mainly because I didn't have the room to set up my machine or the time to figure out what was wrong with it.. I took the basic shape of my Roxas jacket, cut them pieces out, and put them together. The white parts (including the designs on the sleeves) are bias tape, the shoulder armor pieces are black foamie with the silver outlines Sharpie'd on. They were superglued together and then to the jacket itself. The white "zippers" were Foamie cut out in a zipper shape & glued to the jacket.

Necklace: I had 2 purse chain handles that I took both of the clips off of one and one of the clips off of the other chain, then put the 2 chains together to make it long enough to be an actual necklace. The crown is 6mm thick foamie spray painted silver & with resin spray, then superglued to the chain itself & another thinner piece of foamie was superglued to the back of the chain, so the chain itself was sandwiched in between the 2 pieces of Foamie.

Shirt: A dark grey t-shirt with lighter grey fabric & bias tape Liquid stitched to it. It functions as an actual "pocket", if I wanted to use it to hide my badge or something.. Which I obviously didn't do at AAC...

Gloves: Some of the leftover red fabric from the cosplay. They're fingerless, because I ran out of time & just finished them before AAC. The black stripes are bias tape (different widths), the grey fabric is the same as the pocket on my shirt, and the silver buttons are actually the tops of anorak snaps. The white hem is bias tape (again).

Pants: A pair of black shorts with red & black fabric made into the rest of his pants. The white outlines are bias tape, the black straps are wide pieces of bias tape, silver squares on the straps are actually for purses, the bags are a slightly thicker fabric than the pants & a darker red. The X's on the bags are wide bias tape again. The bags' straps are looped through the shorts' belt loops & then attached to the bags/squares, so the whole thing (including the bags) is one piece. I'll be attaching the bags to the sides of the pants though.. They're currently loose & they slide down a little when I walk. And no, the bottoms of the pants are not poofy. As mch as I'd like that to be accurate, I didn't have time to figure out how to get them to really look poofy unless I put elastic in the cuffs (which would pucker the bottom hem) and stuffed them with polyfil or something.

Shoes: A pair of Chuck Taylor's, upholstery foam (toe, back of the shoe), fabric from my cosplay, dark blue bias tape (for the straps), button frames (straps), and 6mm Foamie (soles). White bias tape was used for the outlines along the toe and around the red area/top of the shoe.

I did not make the keyblades. The purple/silver one is a custom design on deviantArt called the Nobody Keyblade.. As soon as I find the link to the design, I'll put it here. Both Nobody and Oblivion were purchased on eBay.
EDIT: Here's the link to the Nobody design on dA:
