This was just a quick costume that I threw together last minute for AFO, mainly because a ton of ParaKiss stuff was popping up on the interwebs and I remembered how much I missed cosplaying Miwako. Thus, I bought a little bit of soft bleached muslin, dyed it pink, and quickly draped and sewed this baby together. The pleating was SO much fun! I've done a lot of pleating before, but nothing to this effect so getting to be extremely slapdash and messy with my scrunches was a lot of fun and I'm pretty happy with the finished product. More than anything, though, I think I've finally worked out the makeup technique for Miwako which I'm SO happy about! It's a lot of work in the morning, but definitely worth it!
