What started as a homemade idea has become my favorite cosplay of all time, and my fallback cosplay for most conventions. I've even had people start to come up to me and say 'oh you're THAT Riza cosplayer!' ... squee.

Finally broke down and purchased the cosplay. The homemade one just wasn't doing it justice... besides, I feel like it's not the cosplay, it's the character you're portraying.

Still have homemade elements- the holsters, the Jacket and pants have been altered, and so on.
