I did this cosplay for three reasons. The first is obvious. Because I'm a huge Power Ranger/Super Sentai fanboy. The second is because this cosplay fits into my favorite category of cosplays. That being, something everyone is familiar with, but is rarely seen at conventions.
If your a Power Ranger fan, your familiar with Putties, but how many Putty cosplayers do you see walking around? Very few.
The final reason I chose to cosplay this character was to see how I looked in spandex. I didn't wanna cosplay a Ranger and later find out that I don't have the body type for that kind of "skin tight" outfit. But with a Putty, It wouldn't make a terribly big deal, since they come in several shapes in sizes.
All in all, I'm extremely happy with how this cosplay turned out, and I look forward to possibly cosplaying some Rangers in the future!
