I'm too lazy at this point to make the bamboo armor and the Maten scripture (and I know myself, I'm too anal about detail so I'd want the correct characters on the scripture) so I like to just wear this costume around for comfort, with the yukata down around my waist. The "casual" after-hours Sanzo look. The yukata is microfiber, which has the softest, most silk-like texture to it, it's way better than cotton or linen. Gloves, shirt, wig, and gun, I did it all (the gun is a modified cap pistol, I painted it and affixed the symbol). I even went to the trouble of getting tabi and a pair of plain flip-flops exactly like his.
