This is the first addition to my Mello project. I put together this hood and coat, and filled the hood with luxurious black fur and lined the edge with many layers of full shiny black feathers. I also added some metal embellishments to the design.

This look also features my Hooded Zipper Shirt - taken from the manga art. I chose materials that compromise black and red, and create varying tones and textural depth. The outermost layer of the shirt is overlaid with a distressed sheer material that give a "burned" and tattered look to the garment. Perfect symbolism for this period in Mello's life.
