I've wanted to cosplay Jiri ever since he started eating my brain in '09 or so, especially since I've only seen two other cosplays of him and he's such an awesome character. I swear being unrecognizable to 90% of the con is a requirement for me to cosplay ._.

ANYWAY I drafted the pattern myself and the robe is made out of the backside of some shiny satin because I don't want to signal space. The broach I sculpted from Apoxie scuplt and painted/rub 'n buffed, and the pants and shoes I acquired already made. The wig started off as an Arda wigs Jaguar in light green (a bit the wrong shade, I know) that I styled into oblivion.

I got the expected I KNOW I'VE SEEN YOU FROM SOMEWHERE comments, but even people who hadn't seen P2K seemed to think it was a neat costume. The wig especially I got much love for.

And going to Aquarium night in this = fucking epic. That is all.
