King of the Cosmos

Definitely the least stressful costume I have worked on. I started way in advance on this one (compared to others that I start 2 months or less before a con). It was also the most fun costume to make. For this costume I decided to go with the original design from the first game, the only thing I changed was his head piece. I felt more confident constructing it than I would've with the original.
I traced the shapes of his headpiece individually in adobe illustrator and transferred it into patterns which I then cut out of cotton and applied to the piece.
The belt and rings and crown were out of model magic, resin, and craft foam.
The ruff (collar piece) was the most intense part. I managed to tame a super thick piece of cardboard using thick string, snaps, and a whole lotta muscle.
