In the game the dress isn't very detailed since the 3D models are pretty blocky, but there are tons of cosplayers and artists that have taken the simple design and turned it into something of their own. I really liked how a lot of cosplayers added a white lacy trim, so I did the same for my mine. In the game the collar looks like it comes pretty high up and has a broach, but I chose to do a square neckline with a choker accessory instead.
I found a really cute girl's Victorian & Saloon dress pattern that I chose for the base. It's Simplicity 2843, but I had to lengthen the bodice and skirt so it would fit properly (It's a pattern for girls, not adult women XD). I used purple satin for the main part, and a white broadcloth for all the gathered frilly stuff (this part I didn't follow the pattern. I wanted to use different sizes and make the amount longer so it would ruffle a little more). I decided on a more burgundy broadcloth for the bows and choker instead of a normal red since I thought the red clashed too much. Used interfacing in the bow and neckline of the bodice. I mixed some resin with blue and yellow dye for the inside of the choker.
I used the same wig that I styled for Crisis Core Cloud, but I tacked in some braids and added a tiara I bought. Since Arda wigs doesn't carry extensions, I got some ponytail clips instead and took them apart for the extensions. At the time I ordered them, they only had the curly clips in this color, so I had to straighten them first XD
