Legend of Zelda

I had tons of left over fabric from various cosplays. I decided to use them all to make one of the most classic heroes. Despite it being a rather over-done cosplay, I quite frankly didn't care. I love the character and I desperately wanted an easy costume to do (since Lightning was so incredibly taxing..).

Bought the wig off ebay, bought the ears at the Renaissance Festival last Spring, and the only fabric I bought was for the white tunic; a relatively cheap cosplay (less than 40 bucks!). I made the shield from foam, and the sword from left-over framing supplies from art class.

There are still a few missing details. I have my bottle, but need a way to attach it to my belt, along with my little pouch. I need a sheath for my sword, and a way to strap them all to that harness.

Also, I've been working on chain mail to add that extra "umph" to my costume. The chain mail isn't your typical spray-painted fabric, nor is it that epic real chain mail that Pikminlink did. Nearly all the bits i'm using were donated from friends of mine over the last year, since they all drink soda. (if you can't figure it out, you'll be pleasantly surprised...)

I've worn the costume once already to AX, and I'll be wearing it again to SabotenCon. I don't think it will be "done" for Sabo, but I don't care. It's a fun costume. <3
