This outfit does not fit the definition of EGL (Elegant Gothic Lolita) or EGA (Elegant Gothic Aristocrat) or their variants. EGL & EGA are largely based on Victorian fashion. They are distinguished by a certain level of fancy embellishment. But the attendant men's fashions lack the same sense of frilly adornment. I wanted to create a man's ensemble which would compliment those fashions in terms of flourish and ornament.
