I put this together for a themed Halloween event at work ^__^ This was my first costume to be put together so sloppily since I was concentrating more on my USO girl, but I'm purdy happy with how she turned out for a rush job!
I wanted to take a more realistic approach as opposed to "cartoony" on this one makeup-wise, and ended up using some graftobian in bone white and ben-nye in "ghoul grey" along with some MAC eye-shadows to achieve a look similar to Mrs. Lovett in Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd. I also noticed that her teeth are purdy sharp in a lot of sketches and got some "Minion" Dental Distortion teeth which official scared quite a few customers (and co-workers XP)
The costume itself is made up of fabric I already had in my bin--lavendar cotton in cooler tones for the base and warmer tones for a waist cincher and sleeves. Fully lined with a dark purple cotton. A ghetto jerry-rigged petticoat was quickly stitched together and safety-pinned to the bodice--actually gave it some nice fluff, too! The lavender lace trim is actually vintage from my Granny, and I plan on carefully seam-ripping it off and using it for another project.
The wig is from arda, which I LOVE and will be using for a Dalek-inspired costume in the near future (yes, I'm jumping on the band-wagon< lulz) I already owned the gloves and boots, so voila!~ <3
