I was very picky about my Finals costume. In the end I made my decision and started to work on Azriel.
Unfortunatelly this costume wasn't the luckiest for me. Cosplay parts were sent to London by post - when i recived mine, majority of the costume was shattered, also wings mechanism was damaged so bad that it unabled me to wear them in orginal form. I think it was one of my worst cosplay expierences in my life.
Each piece of armor i remade twice. I wanted it to be perfect - but the resin isnt easy material to work with. In the end i used EVA foam with some resin from the backside, woodglue and acrylics. For the massive breast i used mannequin piece - it nicely covered my lacks of XXL boobs. ^_- In the ends of dresses 'tails' i added resin gemstones with some wing pattern. Funny thing, i think its my fav part of the costume, haha!
Sword was fully made of expanding foam covered in paper mache and resin. 'Feathery' pieces were made of EVA foam, flames were heat formed plastic. All flames were lighten up with Leds.
Shield was made of heat formed plexiglass and alot of EVA foam. The woman sculpture i made was too damaged to attach it.
Wings were made of pcv pipes with moving mechanism. The feathers were real! I used around 1000 feathers total - alot of turkey ones, also some geese and the smallest ones on the filling.

I am totally not happy with the outcome of the costume yet but theres no way i would leave it be like this. Soon i will fix all parts and wear it again for photoshoot, to look like i wanted it to be from the start. :)
