I have used canvis/denim pink fabric for the pink skirt part. I only took about yard and 1/2 to make the skirt. Zipper's I ordered online from StanLee's sewing website. I'm very happy with the zippers but for the fact that they are 26in and I need it more like 24in, so the jumper is a little long.
