These costumes are soooo comfy and fun to wear, even despite slightly cold butts!

I can't remember exactly what possessed us to make these costumes...but I specifically liked their simplicity and comfortable-but-cute style! We needed easy costumes to wear while photographing during the mornings/afternoons at Youmacon 2011 and also wanted to do another EVA girl group, so this variant was a perfect choice!

Mari, Rei, and Asuka's t-shirts were altered by me (with some last minute hand sewing help by Panchan!). Everything else was assembled individually. Panchan and I took great care in trying to match our shoes!

My Asuka wig is entirely new (from my other one I used for my Yamashita miniskirt plugsuit). It has 2 large wefts in the front hairline with the fiber facing the back of the head so that it could easily be pulled back into her pigtails. Extra wefts were added to the bangs for more poof. The bangs were cut and styled as were the poofies in the pigtails. The rest of the wig was trimmed and layered, but it already had the thickness I wanted for Asuka.
