Miwako is my favorite character from Paradise Kiss because of her sweet, caring personality and adorable fashion sense and style. I absolutely adore her wide-banded pink and black sweater. It's actually what got me interested in the anime and manga.

The sweater, scarf, legwarmers, and purse were self knitted. It took a long time (almost a month because I had to frog the sweater six times), but the result was totally worth the effort. For the sweater, I modified an existing pattern (Deep Texture Tunic by Melissa Wehrle, Interweave Knits, Winter 2009) to add the bulk and stripes. The legwarmers were a quick self drafted pattern while the scarf was made from Arianna Halshaw's "Matilda - A Winter Cable Scarf".
