Trying for something extremely (almost neurotically) accurate but something that looks appropriate for my body (I'm no bodybuilder).

UPDATE 5/22/2012:
Torso armor, belt, upper boots, gauntlets, boot armor, and thigh armor are done. Working on finishing the tiara/crown and wig and beginning the gelatin ear process. I feel a plateau happening. The wig is a real challenge to get right, and I just don't have the drive/time to "finish" everything. I know I'll finish this costume before Otakon, but it may be on the back burner for a few weeks.

Plans:
Craft foam armor and crown/tiara thing (Ganon is so fabulous with his tiara) lol
Home made custom gelatin ear pieces
Scarecrow fangs (lower tusks, probably the only prefab part of this costume)
Cardboard/papermache/air-dry clay sword (in sheath)
Tightly styled red wig using excess hair to make beard extensions and eyebrows

P.S. Twilight Princess Ganondorf has a delightfully muted color palette compared to the SSBB Ganondorf.

Things I Want to Redo:
-breastplate trim
-inner detail of vest trim
-back trim of shoulder armor
-collar armor base (will try to salvage trim)
-gauntlet jewels
