I hate this costume with an ungodly passion now. The scallops are evil. EVIL.

The first time I made this, I was a n00b and stupidly thought to use flannel because I thought it was warm and the right color. WRONG. We all make mistakes. Let's forget about that one. Please?

The second time, I used the leftover casa satin from my Spirit Town Sakura. And the scallops made me want to cry. I only wore it twice because I tried for 'realism' over 'accuracy' and wanted the kimono top to actually be worn as such. It would not stay up! I should have realized that if an article of clothing were to be worn the way it is shown in that picture, it would promptly fall off for not being tied on correctly. And stupid me didn't think to put in snaps or anything like that. Rawr.

Can you feel the hatred for this costume yet?

The only pictures I have of it are from a few days after I'd taken a tumble down some concrete stairs--which I do not recommend, it is not my favorite and I do not love it. So I'm not looking my best, but I am not only never going to dig this out for pictures again, I believe I have already started to cut it apart. SO HA. TAKE THAT, COSTUME.

It really is a cute design, and I hope others will have less trouble with it!
