I needed a costume for fencing demonstrations. At this time, as I was a beginner, I was only allowed to fight with a wood stick. That's why I chose to make a villager costume, to match my weapon =)
This outfit looks more like a Renaissance costume, but I didn't have time to make something better... It's also too large for me, and I cut the skirt too short, but it looks quite OK anyway. I sometimes wear it at medieval events too.
