Last year, my friends got me into Gintama, and I knew I wanted to cosplay something from that from the first explosion in the series. I usually don't like female characters, but Kagura's such a character that I decided to cosplay her.

I patterned out and sewed the entire dress. The boots, umbrella, and wig were bought online. The wig came with bun covers, but they got screwed up while shipping, so I recreated Kagura's usual bun covers by stretching and gluing scrap material over it.

Other than the wig being too small, I had fun dressed as Kagura. She's such a funny character, and I got to be a dork. I even got to meet up with my friends and form a Gintama group.
