My first ever cosplay!

Not too bad if I do say so myself. Had to hand sew everything since I know nothing of sewing machines. Note to self: Learn how to use a sewing machine.

Because everything was done by hand, it took a loooong time. But, it got done in time.

I didn't think of the weather when I thought up this costume. There are three layers in total: the white "under kimono", the main purple kimono, and then the coat kimono robe...thing. The outer layer was made of heavier material, which made the costume nearly unbearable in the heat and humidity during the con.

Note to self: Next year, make a more summer-appropriate cosplay.
