In 2004 I was part of a performing group called mBrosia. For Anime North that year we wrote and performed a half hour variety show of songs, dances and skits. Our theme that year was Sailor Moon Villains (cause they never get any love!), and I was part of a smaller sub group of the Amazon Trio. The three of us aimed to have our costumes be feminized versions of those lovely boys in drag, but Fish-Eye is just SO effeminate that I originally found it really hard to figure out what to do with him. Finally came up with a concept, while still trying to maintain both his original colour scheme, as well as some familiar elements of his infamous design.

But ultimately, in the end, I left it too late and built most of it only days before the convention. Most of what I had designed got cut because of time constraints, held together with safety pins, and only looked good on stage and from a distance.

It now sits in my closet, never to come out again.
