This was created for part of a group at ALA 2 (affectionately nicknamed "Fruits Bastards"). A friend in the group had a Yuki costume as well, and although neither of us would have minded having two Yukis, I'd been itching to cosplay Rin so it was a perfect opportunity.

I also had a TON of leftover white fabric from my Yuki costume, so I barely had to spend anything to make this. Good motivation right there. The wig was recycled from my Arashi and Tifa costumes, then later my Kaoru wig.

Jinyo came up with the idea of making our costumes partially transformed, so I added horse ears and a tail.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES: This costume was HELL, and it really shouldn't have been. My mockup was flawless, my heavy (and lined) final product was not. Many alterations later, I got Rin to look decent. The sailor collar hid most of the ugliness, and my wig covered the rest, so really it's only me who notices the glaring imperfections. If I could remake it, I'd definitely use a different fabric, but for now I'm happy enough with it.
