Lunatic
Tiger & Bunny

Components of Lunatic's costume include:
- Bellbottoms of Thanatos (which are actually why I decided to make this costume - I liked his weird pants)
- Pointy Elf-Shoes of Justice (actually boot covers; they cover up the giant heels I wear in order to not be completely tiny)
- yards and yards of Penance Tape (because clearly I have committed some great sin if I have to make and sew this much bright neon green bias tape all over the place around and inside corners ;_;)
- Cloak of Expedient Flammability (which involves a great deal of the Penance Tape and is fully lined so as not to expose the backside of that irregular patchwork weirdness)
His shirt is one of the most painful cosplay experiences I have ever had, between the asymmetry, the shoulders, and all the penance tape. Makes me sad that it's going to eventually be hidden under the cloak. Which is covered with MORE PENANCE TAPE. ARGH. This is why he really snapped, folks.
Mask is of course hand-painted, the blue bits using some assorted marbling techniques, and the face sort of maimed and then resculpted using papier-mache. The eyes actually give me decent visibility - two layers of sheer chiffon over clear plastic means I can see out pretty well, but lights shining directly towards the eyes get reflected back, camouflaging my real eyes behind them.
Also working on making his bowgun, making it collapsible, and making it "light on fire". In a con-safe way, naturally. Lunatic does not want to set any innocent congoers on fire, only criminals.
