Hakuōki: Shinsengumi Kitan
Last Updated: 08-12-2013
What got me into Hakuōki from the start was that my twin had constantly been telling me how good it is, and told me that I should really watch the anime. At that time I didn't really care about Hakuōki, mostly because neither the style or the character clothing impressed me to start with (First Season clothing now).
When I asked about what kind of characters are involved in Hakuōki my twin said that all the characters are quite cool and no one of them is lame. He especially mentioned Sannan for me, telling me that he's quite sure that I would like him.

Later I asked about Sannan's personality and what about him could so surely capture my taste? How could my twin be so sure about just Sannan? The answer was a "trollface" when I asked if Sannan was some kind of traitor. So yeah, after that I got the urge to finally watch this anime called Hakuōki: Shinsengumi Kitan, to find out why this anime is so awesome according to my twin. After watching both the first and second season in only two days, Sannan stood easily above everyone else as my favorite character from the serie. Why? Well, he had all those personalities that I want a character to have. He was that smart, mysterious, calm, lonely guy. At one point in the anime Sannan betrays his allies, and you take for granted that he is a traitor...but! This guy turns the tables twice and starts to cut down the enemies when standing at their side! Surprise or what?! Such a master mind! I couldn't help myself feeling sad for him when he died and asked those character near him for forgiveness. I truly loved Hakuōki after watching it!
