Maya goes through a phase of having short and long hair. I went with the shorter version. Her school uniform with the sweater was seen on the longer-haired version in the anime, so this is a bit of a spin. I also decked out the sword the 2nd day by stripping it of its tsuka ito(handle wrap), running a ribbon with the same size and threading to mimic the cloth, then did a four-knot braided velvet rope to get the ceremonial look of the Chokuto Reiki(cursed weapon she wields).
