A quick costume I made using my existing ren faire friar costume and then making an amulet of Mara. More of a budget costume and something to keep me occupied instead of a full-fledged cosplay.
The costume is just curtain material sewn into a robe, hood, and capelet. Pretty easy and was done in about a week. It's hot as hell to wear though.
The amulet of Mara was made by sculpting soft super sculpey with an x-acto knife. After it was baked I made finer details with a dremel tool and sand paper. And then it was spray painted gold, antiqued with a metallic finish, and then antiqued further with acryllic paint. I think it came out okay, but it still looks a little sloppy and unrefined in my opinion.
