When my sister decided that she wanted to cosplay with me this year, we decided to do Marth and Roy since they were our favorite characters from the game Super smash bros. (melee or brawl) and we also like the Fire Emblem games! Plus, ssbm/b is a game that we play a lot and we never get tired of it, so we have a lots of good memories from this game!

I learned a lot of things while making those costumes, I am now properly able to sew bias tape, thanks to my friend AkatsukiSky and the amazing tutorial she gave me xD Since I'm not using appropriate patterns (I'm mostly alterating a lot the only one I have xD) the making of those costumes was sometimes complicated, but a really fun learning experience ^^

My only dissapointement with my Roy cosplay, is my armor! I made it with foam and reinforced the back with papier-maché, (Marth's armor was the same) but it broked by the end of the only day I wore it. Since Marth's armor was completely fine, I'm gonna blame my cape and it's heavy weight (it was heavier than Marth's) and the fact that the day I wore that costume was the hottest day of the convention xD So, now I need to completely redo Roy's armor :(

Anyway, even with the armor problem that made me a little sad, it was a really good costume to wear and I plan on wearing it again next year at the Otakuthon! With improvement of course xD
