The jewelry was made of craft foam, silver spray paint, eyelet rivets (to keep the foam from tearing), nickel chain, plastic tubing, glass baubles, polymer clay, jewelry wire and jump rings.
The skirt was made of cotton fabric using a a semi-circle skirt pattern that I arbitrarily drew based on the width of the fabric.
The top was made of a stretchy dance wear material that I found in the remnants section at Jo-Ann fabrics. It was the first shirt that I attempted to make, so I thought the stretchy fabric would be more forgiving. I based the pattern on a shirt that fit me very well, and pretty much winged the modifications to make it a one-shouldered top with asymmetrical hem.
If I were to make improvements, I would have made all of the jewelry out of polymer clay to give the pieces more heft. I would also make the top out of the same material that I used for the skirt.
