Serah is my first completely finished and handmade costume I done. I am very proud of how it came out. I worked very hard on it and I've lost sleep on it. However, the joy of running around with a giant foam weapon made up for it.

When I wore her to the con, I wished her wig was better styled. I was pressed for time and her hair tie made a big hair ball. I did the best I could for the con.

However, when I got home, I did a photoshoot with an appropriate background and better lighting. I restyled her wig, fixed the falling pieces and frankly, snapped some wonderful pictures. I wish I took more effort when I wore it to the con, but I was proud of my cosplay and I think that resonated through my horribly styled wig! I will wear her again with perfection.

I also made a transformable weapon to go with the cosplay. I worked on it non-stop for three days straight. It made the difference to the cosplay. I felt without the weapon, Serah would look empty.
