I needed an easy-to-pack costume for AX (something that could travel 2,000 miles in a suitcase). I was already gathering materials for my armored Avengers Loki, so it was easy to use that wig and raid my closet for the jacket, vest, etc.

The scarf was a little trickier -- I ended up printing it myself, for better accuracy -- and the Glowstick of Destiny was quite literally made out of trash the night before I left. It consists of a broken broom handle, a cut-up Coke Zero bottle, a 3-ring sheet protector, some scrap foam, and the LED unit from a dismantled Halloween glowstick. Oh, and some paint. A lot of paint.
